Manic Monday
Well, I suppose it hasn't really been to manic yet (but then usually hell breaks loose around here AFTER nap time...so we'll see how things are in a few hours).
{Business of the Day}
I made myself up a little list to help me keep track of this so it doesn't just get lost farther down in the posts...This way I can keep updating this each day with cross offs and circles for the day's goal.
So for today, I've got 4 things to try and get crossed off this list, PLUS we have Tae Kwon Do tonight. I've been working on the house all morning, so that's probably about as far as I'm going to get on that today. 2 1/2 rooms are cleaned up...will have to get a few more rooms tomorrow morning.
Amy and I did have our CTs vote over the weekend on the Winter Dreams LO Contest, and we determined the winners last night. We need to get the coupon codes now and a little announcement made up so we can post that tonight or tomorrow morning.
{Ma'm, do you live here?}
LOL...last night while I was hosting my hour of the 7-7-7 chat at SBB (about 10:30 PM my time)..I get a knock at the door. I'm thinking WHO the heck is that at this hour. So, I run up the stairs and look through the peep hole to see a single person standing there. I open the door and it's a POLICEMAN. He says, "Ma'm to you live here?" I think OMG!! (Mind you just 10-15 min earlier I had practically CHUGGED a beer down to relax from my terribly stressful afternoon and evening, so I'm feeling a tad bit of a buzz from drinking so quickly). Anyway...to my horror... I learn on of my neighbors called the police because my dog was barking! GOOOD GRIEF! I usually bring them in after the girls go to bed and certainly right away if they're barking at night, but I forgot they were still outside last night, and I was in the basement on the computer and didn't even hear them. I can't believe a neighbor couldn't just walk over and knock on my door or call me to ask me to bring them in. I could see if this was a reoccuring thing night after night, but geesh..ONE night, for about maybe an hour or so? sighhhh Thankfully he didn't give me any ticket or anything and was very nice (almost seemed annoyed that he even had to come out for something this stupid), but he did have to take my name and birthday! UUUGH am I in some database now as as a criminal who allows her dog to bark all hours of the night? LOL anyway....
{Layout shares}
OK..on to some new LO shares. I didn't make it to the 7 LOs for the week in time before deadline last night, but I did get to 5 and then I finished another early this morning, so I've got one up for this week now.
These first two pages go together to form a 2 page spread. I so very rarely scrapbook about things like the tree or our ornaments - I need to do more pages of this sort of thing..more about the "season" and not just pictures of us opening gifts. hehe

This one is a picture of Kyleigh last year for her first Christmas. I don't think I've scrapped anything from last Christmas yet, so I figured it was about time to get some of these done, especially for Ky's book.

And this page I actually did a couple months ago for the SBB Ezine, but it's just now out in this month's issue, so I can finally post it. I started off good with scrapping her month pages, and then life got really crazy with finishing up Grad school last year and I left off after about 9 months, so I'm trying to finish up some of these too.

And, finally this is the last page I finished early this morning. It's the same design as the one I did of Kyleigh, just Alyssa's version with different papers to match her jamies. :)

Ok and so with all that...I'm off to work on that to do list today. Alyssa will be home soon, and Ky awake soon and as I said, that's when all hell breaks loose here!
Have a happy, NONmanic Monday.
